How to Search
- Multiple words are each searched individually. For example, submitting the keyword search twain finn will return all records containing both the word twain and the word finn.
- Exact phrases can be searched by enclosing in quotes. For example, "huckleberry finn"
- Several wildcards are available:
Wildcard Explanation Example ? Represents exactly one character co?e returns code, coke, cope, etc. * Represents up to five non-space characters inter* returns internal, internet; NOT international ** Represents any number of non-space characters inter** returns internal, internet, international - The proximity operators NEAR, BEFORE, AFTER, WITHIN x where x is the maximum number of words that may appear between the terms. For example, fractal WITHIN 3 geometry.
- The Boolean operators AND, OR, AND NOT may be used with searches other than keyword searches. For example, AUTHOR = twain OR dickens to search for works by either author.

My Account
- Depending on your current library activities, My Account enables you to track items checked out, preferred searches, fines, and items requested, and to renew items.
- My Account (including Preferred Searches and Request) is only available after you have activated your Touro ID at your local Touro College Library.
- If information on the My Account page is incorrect or missing, please contact your local Touro College Library immediately.
Renewing Items Checked Out
- Log in to My Account.
- Click on Checked Out Items.
- Select the checkboxes in the RENEW column next to the items you wish to renew, and click Renew Selected. You may also choose to Renew All.
- Ensure that the due date in the Status column reflects your renewal.
- NOTE: An item that is overdue or on hold cannot be renewed.
